Attorneys can't do any more than you. They call the same numbers and send the same paperwork. You'll just end up $3500? poorer. Chase is one of the worst. Employees of Chase openly admitted that they are told to give applicants the run-around. The number of people who get mods is staggeringly low. Recently, there was a piece in the news saying close to 50% of the people trying to get into the program drop out. Do you think that they suddenly lost interest in trying to keep their homes?

I too think that this loan modification is a big joke. More than likely you will be denied and not qualify for any other program that your bank may offer. I am disillusioned and very, very upset with this entire process. I had 2 aneuryms and have yet to return to work. I am looking but have not found anything yet. I am going to lose my house. I got a 3 month fornearance and now they want all the back payments.

If you are in a forbearance process, be very careful. If you are near your property tax time, the bank will give you the runabout just to make sure that you will pay your property tax.......after paying your property tax, they could just decline you.

OK, Family meeting folks, need to cut cost, for starters bare bone essentials only, canceling all insurance policies (frauds anyway) walk away from credit cards (Fico: huge fraud), walk and bye bye underwater mortgage. You don't need ANYONE to do a modification or talk to the lenders. Once you know the law you can do it yourself. I did it by reading this ebook. My home was in foreclosure and 30 days before the auction. I used the legal letters in the ebook and kept my house. That was three years ago!

I found this great company call My Loan Rescue.. they got me a great modification .... they have a fee but it was well worth it... they droped my payment 700 bucks a month... there number is 763 477 8510 in case u want it

Hud councler and HOPE councler told me too bad. Currently unemployed. pack up and foreclose. The biggest problem is liar loans were given to people who did'nt stand a chance or could afford in the first place, so no type of mod could work. Mortgage audit service I'm currently with me said, " My current finances have nothing to do with modifying. They have to offer me a loan based on my income for the years of purchase." All modifications are cover ups and scams!
